At AIS Israel, the following philosophy: Everyone and anyone can be an athlete, is the most important basic premise. Within the AIS school sports program, student athletes learn the values associated with discipline, performing under stress, teamwork, sacrifice, commitment, effort, accountability, citizenship, sportsmanship, confidence, and leadership. AIS Students have an opportunity to participate in variety of sports teams including:

Fall Season: Soccer and Volleyball |

Spring Season: Softball, Baseball, and Tennis |
(beginning of March middle of May) |
* Students who are 13 years old or older by September 1st of the school year may also participate on these teams under the coaches discretion.
Practices take place after school, between 3:15 5:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Games most often take place on Sundays, with occasional practice game during the week. AIS Varsity Teams participates in a local league, known as the Peace League, during the season and an international tournament, know as the International Scholastic Schools Tournaments (ISST) at the end of each season.

AIS realizes the important role athletics plays in a students life and has built a program that caters to the student athlete. Students work hard in athletics, which facilitates and coincides with their abilities academically.
